🎉 Wander and Weave Turns 100! 🎉

Oh my goodness. Somebody pinch me (gently, please). This is officially the 100th blog post on Wander and Weave! 💃🏾 I can’t believe it. One hundred times I’ve sat down, poured my heart out, stitched words together, and somehow you , yes YOU! , my incredible readers, kept coming back for more.

I’m in awe. I’m grateful. I’m… also wondering if I deserve a cake for this. Or maybe balloons. Or maybe an all-expenses-paid trip to Paris? (Hello, universe, are you listening? )

But jokes aside , today feels HUGE.

Believe it or not, this blog wasn’t even supposed to exist. Nope. What I really wanted was to write a book. But God has a funny sense of humor. Instead, He handed me a blog-shaped detour and said, “Here, practice first.”

It all began in Japan, when I had just arrived and was… let’s just say, not in the brightest of places. Homesickness, culture shock, and a whole bunch of “what am I even doing with my life?” moments. My brother-in-law Wisdom (shoutout to you ) suggested we do a 30-day journaling challenge. We poured our feelings onto paper, raw and messy, like therapy sessions but without the bill. Somewhere in those scribbles, the writer in me woke up.

Fast forward to now: 100 blogs later, I’ve laughed, cried, healed, and grown through these words. And if even one post made YOU smile, learn, or breathe easier , then every keystroke was worth it.

-To my 300+ readers (and counting): thank you for reading, sharing, commenting, and occasionally side-eyeing my long paragraphs. You’re the reason I keep going.

-To my family and friends: thank you for letting me dream out loud without ever saying “Shhh, not again.”

-To my WhatsApp contacts: I know, I know, those random broadcasts. Sorry, not sorry. You love it. (Okay, maybe you don’t, but I’ll keep sending them anyway. 🤭)

-To my inner child: girl, we made it. Healing isn’t linear, but look at us now, thriving and writing like never before.

Reaching 100 blogs is more than just a number. For me, it’s reassurance that I can actually do this , that I am a writer. It’s proof that consistency, even when messy, matters. And it’s a reminder that our stories, no matter how ordinary they feel, have the power to light someone else’s path.

So, if you’re reading this and you’ve been hesitating to start your own thing , whether it’s writing, painting, singing, or even opening that bakery you’ve been daydreaming about , consider this your sign: just start. Don’t overthink it. Don’t wait for perfection. Pick up that pen, brush, camera, or spatula and get going.

Oh yes, the book is still coming , it’s just chilling in the waiting room of destiny until the right moment. (Patience, my friends. Good things age like fine wine.) In the meantime, Wander and Weave isn’t slowing down. If we’ve reached 100, why not aim for 1,000? Or dare I say… a million? 👀

And with God leading this journey, I know the best is yet to come.

Here’s to every single person who’s walked with me on this blogging journey. Here’s to healing, to laughter, to storytelling, and to never underestimating the power of words.

From the bottom of my heart , THANK YOU. Now, go grab a cup of tea (or coffee, or juice, or whatever makes your heart happy) and keep reading, because the next 100 blogs are about to be even more exciting.
